Public friendship groups from other places we read, like the Solo Poly Supper Club at Many Moons or Later-Life Housemates at Hearthhold, are in the full list. We don’t put them in front of you.
What Theo can’t see
For readers of this example
In the world this example is built from, Mae is also on Queer Harbor’s dating list, which is unlisted, and in Many Moons: Harbor Counties, which is public but tagged dating. Ada has a shelf-talker on Second Tide Books’ Singles Shelf, a public dating Pool. None of it appears in Theo’s view, and nothing on his screen hints that anything is missing.
If Theo says yes to the Tuesday walk, Carl Jansen appears as a fellow walker. His place at Late Supper’s Second Chapters, unlisted and for dating, does not.
The rules: Familiar Faces shows only groups Theo is in, or that are public. It never shows unlisted or invite-only groups he isn’t in. It never shows anyone’s dating groups in a friends view. Every group, and the rule applied to it.
